Error Message Regarding IE 6 and MapGuide Report

Issue:
Internet Explore 6 with Service Pack 1 (IE6 SP1) was released in 2002 as an updated version to enhance advanced security issues. Unfortunately, the functionality that the ActiveX Control is invoking in Autodesk Mapguide viewer 6 has been identified as a security risk, and therefore has been turned off in IE6 SP1.

An error message that is similar to the followings occurs when you attempt to view a report or perform any functionalities in MapGuide Viewer.

Solution:
The problems above can be eliminated by adding your URL to "trusted" internet sites.  Please follow the instruction below carefully:

1. On the menu of your IE browser, click Tools and select Internet Options from the list.
2. When "Internet Option" diaglog shows up, click the Security tab.
3. Now, select Trusted Sites icon and then click Sites... button. This will bring up a new dialog on your screen.
   
   
   
4. In the "Trusted Sites" dialog, enter the URL "http://in53.plexisgroup.com/" without double quotes to "Add this Web site to the zone" box
5. If the "Required server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" box at the bottom is checked, click in the box to uncheck it.
6. Now click Add button to add your URL to the "Web Sites" box.
7. Click OK button to close "Trusted Sites" dialog.
8. Click OK button to close "Internet Options" dialog.
